Aniqa Sawja is an Apparel Designer at Best Cricket Store Inc. and a recent fashion graduate from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, CA. Her experience spans from fashion design to fashion styling.

 

She was born and raised in Karachi, Pakistan and holds a Bachelor's Degree (BFD-H) in Fashion Design from the Asian Institute of Fashion Design. She worked as an Assistant Stylist at Touch of Modern, San Francisco, and two years as a Fashion and Textile Designer at Asim Jofa, one of the high-end and prestigious fashion houses of Pakistan. 

 

She moved to San Francisco in 2018 to acquire her Master’s Degree (MA) from Academy of Art University in Fashion Design where her studies led her to develop several different skills including concept development, market, and trend research, fabric sourcing, collection development, pattern making, 3D construction, hand and machine sewing, draping, fabric manipulation, fashion styling, technical and stylized flats (digitally and by hand), knitwear design and construction and an understanding of the fashion industry.
