In times of uncertainty, astrology offers much-needed reassurance whether it be a global political crisis, economic instability, news-induced paranoia, or the strain on mental health. Therefore, a lot of people are inclined towards following the movement of constellations and zodiac signs.

Fashion also seems to have a love affair with astrology as both have a few things in common. They're both cyclical — zodiac signs change based on the movement of the planets, fashion changes based on the season of the year. They both, to a certain extent, attempt to predict the future (though fashion stands on either side of the fine line between predicting what people will want and telling them what they want).

Thus, this project is inspired by the different elements of astrology including the clusters of constellations, different angular shaped formed by signs, and the silhouettes of biblical characters. The silhouettes are inspired by abstractions of both the drape and the robe of an apostle. The colors are inspired by metallic and bright-colored stones and crystal formations. The gold leaf printed textile is created to give a hint of gold through the loudness of colors. The pleated detail and sheer layers are used to mimic the clusters of constellations. The collection overall has a drapey feel with angular details in asymmetrical collars and panels.
